I use to believe in the things on paper

I used to read the times of our lives

I could be the threatned in this world

I could be fragile

I could die

Cremate the stars in tabloid fashion

Burn them alive inside their own homes

Tell them the truth as the knife slides in

Tell them its for their life image

I could be threatned in this world

I could be fragile

I could die

Stop, pose take a picture please

Note to self ignore their pleade

Another day

Another success

Another failure

I could be threatned in this world

I could be fragile

I could die

Document me, arrest my own mind

Make my sanity harder to find

Exagerate the words make it absurd

The world knows me now in a blur

I could be threatned in this world

I could be fragile

I could die

I'm popular now

For all the wrong reasons

Stricken down naked infront of the world

Do you like what you see?

Now you know its not really me

I could be threatned in this world

I could be fragile

I could be you

I could die

I dedicate this poem in the memory of Michael Jackson. As I feel not many will agree, but I feel we have lost one our greatest artists/performers of all time. This targets his past with the media. I hope enjoy this, it was very personal to me. :)

This is great!:) Michael will be very missed! He was incredibly talented. Unfortunately, many people will only see the bad side of his life and not his music and legacy; which will live on forever.

It's amazing. I'd never thought its for MJ. xD
It's sad that he is dead now. I was never a fan of his music. he was allways pretty strange to me.
But he was really talented.

Thank you:D Yes I have listened to Michael since I was a kid, I've always liked his music. I can understand why people may not like him or his music, but you can't deny that he had talent. The lack of respect towards his passing is mainly due to jealousy or immaturity or a way to cash in money. Unfortunately the media love this sought of dramatic event and will milk every headline they possibly can to further ridcule him, even in death he has no peace. To me he seemed like the lonliest person in the world, even with the friends he had made over the years. I felt sorry for him, he is just an example of how fame can be corruptive and in the end be your un-doing.

Thank you I'm glad you thought so :D I grew up with his music, so it was kind of the music I had in my childhood. So even if i wanted to escape I couldn't really :P Yeah he was strange but I don't think the media helped his personality or career:( Yes he was very talented, its a shame to see him go

Thank you. Nice to hear from you again :D

you're welcome :) I couldn't have said it any better. He was definitely misunderstood by so many. Though I have never met him, it hurts me that he still gets the wrong kind of attention from the media and how people close to him try to get his money. Its all jealousy. Like yourself, I grew up listening to his music when I was little. He even inspired me to dance and sing. Michael had incredible talent and a gift of compassion, which is mostly over-looked by people. There will never be another MJ.
